“The Cabin” - An old log cabin,
long abandoned in the Canadian
country-side. As I was shooting
these scenes I felt the ghosts of
the families who had lived here -
children laughing while hand-
cranking the pump for water,
eating fresh apples off the tree.
And now its touched by a
mystical serenity and quiet.
Feature Project
“Winter Wonderland” - Trees have
always held a strong fascination
for me. To see them draped in
puffs of snow creates a certain
feeling of strength. In a winter
wonderland its as if they are
displaying new foliage of the
season.
“Kiwi’s on Tour” - Tracing the
famous Route 66 in the USA,
2010 and covering over 6000
miles in 4 weeks - “a trip down
memory lane”.
“Lothlorien” - Nestled in the back
country of Ontario, Lothlorien
Woodworking is a small company
that, amazingly, has prestigious
clients throughout Canada and the
US for custom windows and doors.
“Ode to Rebirth” - A collection of
images that work as a metaphor
for the rebirth of life. These
images symbolize the enduring
strength and innocence of life,
and how nature gives simple
meaning to the cycle of life.

About
“The Goldsmith” - It is rare to
come across a talented artist. I
met Jim Horton a few year’s ago
and from the moment I walked
into his shop, I was taken by the
beautiful examples of his work.
There’s a calm and quiet aura of
style and grace in his shop, while
at the same time, a warm feeling
of home.
